Mrs. Wickline and Mrs. DeVore's 5th graders have taken on leadership roles in the cafeteria and we love it! They support their peers with cleanup management and keeping our restrooms from becoming overcrowded.

What an afternoon/evening!! Our girls basketball team took the win over Joshua Circle, followed by the Strings Music Performance at Oak Hills High School that four of our Cougars brought their musical talents to, and wrapped up by a super tense boys basketball game against the Topaz Tigers!
Phew, our Cougars had quite the day! We are so proud of them!

Being Principal for a Day is no easy feat, but Mr. Aguilar rocked it! He led the morning announcements, shared his knowledge of economics with 2nd graders, participated in a morning meeting, learned all about incubating and hatching chicken eggs, dug into data from launching rockets, and so much more!
It was a privilege to have him at Carmel today to learn all about what it means to be a Cougar!

HUSD families, don't forget about the 2024 Jolly Parade on Friday 12/13/24! The parade carrying Santa, Mrs. Claus and Buddy the Elf will be arriving at Cedar Middle School at 5pm, at Hesperia Junior at 6:15pm and at Ranchero Middle at 7:30pm! Free photos with Santa and candy for all children and food and snacks will be available for purchase! Santa hopes to see you there!
